I am a foreign correspondent with 20 years’ experience covering wars, social strife, politics, and business in more than 20 countries. I have lived on leper colonies in Brazil, travelled with guerrillas under fire in Kosovo, exposed so-called collateral damage while covering the war in Afghanistan, partied with war criminals, dined with presidents and prime ministers, and climbed an erupting volcano in the name of writing.
This blog will have few bullets and political revolutions though. I have just left that life for something less ephemeral. Something much better, more exciting, and permanent.
